A view of the skyline from our window. The hotel was located in the center of the city. If you want to eat nearby, try Wooloomooloo Steakhouse, which is situated 400 ft away. Free parking on site was provided...

Location
It was much lower the expectations after reading the reviews. The room assigned was in front of the reception, we asked another and we received. The phone in the new room was not working (and I need to make an urgent local call in Singapore!) and they were not able to fix in short time! I went to the front desk to make the call and they even charge me for it!!! But above all they asked a deposit with credit card of 100 $ ... Even if I protested because no where in the reservation was written about it I had to accept if I want to stay in the hotel. I would not go back, if in Singapore.

Great staff and clean room with comfortable bed. Location is convenient, with major transportation and shopping options nearby.
Room was smaller than expected and noisy at times due to the busy recreational club atmosphere. Limited amenities and facilities available compared to larger hotels.

Great location.
Noise!! The walls are so thin here that we could not sleep! I could hear people laughing next door and had to ask reception to say something to them, it was well past midnight. I then had to listen to the man on the other side coughing all night. I have never stayed anywhere so noisy, ever! Why not insulate walls? I would never stay here again. No sleep for 2 nights made us tired and grumpy. Glass walls to the bathroom as well.

Location
We were at the hotel at 10:00 am. We came back to the reception after freshening up in the pool shower room and wanted to leave a few things back in our bags. Our bags were already in a room that was clean and made up. However they did not give us the room till check in time. I was travelling with a 2 year old and my parents, one of who is 66 yrs old. They could have helped us with the room, however they did not give us even when the room was actually available. Also we did not feel very welcome at the hotel. It has a very snooty feel to it, definately not a place to go with little kids. Getting a taxi from the hotel is very tough. You have to call for a cab that costs you more than if you were to hail one.

Great Place in Central area I had a great time during my recent stay in Singapore. the hotel's location was fantastic, being within walking distance of many attractions and shopping options. the subway station was also very close by, making it easy to get around the city. the room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Plus, it overlooked the Padang, offering a nice view.
the breakfast provided was so-so, with not many choices and the food quality was disappointing.

It was middle of the City. Close to City tour and other transportation staff (Metro, Underground walking ways).
Room was really small, Wi-Fi is expensive.

We loved the hotel's fantastic location right in the centre of everything. It was just across the street from the MRT station that had the line running to the airport, making our travel so convenient. Moreover, it was right near the Raffles Shopping centre and the metro, which made exploring the city a breeze. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was satisfying.

A creational club with only 26 rooms at a good location - clean, comfortable rooms, good service, friendly staff, with plenty of sporting facilities available.
Very thin walls :(

The food in the restaurant at b1 was great. Shame they arent open to the public as I often frequent Singapore for work and stay at work designated hotels but would like to re visit the restaurant. Vey efficient housekeeping and quiet yet slightly smaller rooms which can be cozy.
The fact that it took several attempts to get a working refrigerator only to be supplied with another broken one. Plumbing can be noisy in the middle of the night. The stairs leading down to the bedding area in the room need to be carefully negotiated especially in the middle of the night.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
